AlberoBello General Contracting is a family-run business working out of Weston. We build, renovate, and repair houses around Fairfield County, and we've been at it for decades.

We stay small deliberately. A bigger operation means running several jobs at once, which means a foreman on some of them and a rotating crew of subcontractors on the rest. That's how a homeowner ends up explaining the same thing three times to three different people. Here, one person answers the phone, comes out to look, prices the job, and runs it. That's Tony, and he owns the place.

How it usually goes

You call or text. We come out, look at what you've got, and talk it through with you — what it needs, what it doesn't, and what we'd do if it were our own house. The estimate is free and there's no pressure attached to it.

Once work starts, you get a straight answer about the schedule. If something behind a wall turns out to be worse than it looked, you hear about it that day, with what it changes and what it costs. Nobody likes that phone call. Getting it two weeks late is worse.

The site gets cleaned up at the end of every day. That sounds like a small thing. Ask anyone who's lived through a renovation whether it's a small thing.

What we won't do

We won't swap the material you approved for something cheaper that photographs the same. We won't skip prep to make a paint job look finished a day earlier. And we won't take a job we're not the right people for — if it needs a specialist, we'll tell you and point you at one.

It costs us work sometimes. We'd rather that than have our name on something we'd be embarrassed to walk past.
